There is an engine ID plate on top of the timing cover casting, right of center and facing the ceiling of the engine bay. It is no farther back than the front of the valve cover. It will probably be caked with grime. This is looking into the engine bay from the rear. It contains eng size, horsepower, CPL number, etc.

I'm glad it fit in the motorhome when you brought it home from the auction. (Just kidding!)

Arby is right. Monaco Customer Support can look it up on their computer. They don't always answer email, though, so best to call them at 877-466-6226. While you're talking to them, ask if they can send you a "Data Card" on your coach. It will have the model and serial number of most of the orginal components and appliances.

By the way, welcome to the iRV2 Monaco Owner's Forum.

THANKS for all the great suggestions. I can tell this forum is going to be a lifesaver in my Quest to put this coach back on the road. I hope I am able to return the favor once my education is well underway. THANKS AGALN

An old manager of mine has a 1993 Dynasty, he has a Cummins 8.3 in it (mechanical not electronic). You can also call Cummins if Monaco does not have the engine number recorded on file.

carsplusar...
I feel remiss that I have not officially welcomed you to iRV2 AND the Monaco Forum!

As you can see...this happens to be the friendliest & most helpful group of RV owners anywhere. I do hope that you will allow me to give you some of that great "Monaco Karma" that most everyone here has under their log-in name to the left side of the posts.

Again...welcome to iRV2. Everyone here hopes you will visit and post often!

MM

PS... all you have to say is "Karma Please"...and it will be done!

Also look at the blue decal near the front door it will have the Monaco coach number and completion date. The number is a production number and Monaco uses it to track the build of each coach.
