Sitting here this hot Saturday morning looking through the owners manuals for information on my engine. Either my brain is overheated and I'm missing it or it just isn't there.

What I'm trying to find is the maximum operating rpm's and maximum engine temp for my 05 330 Cummins ISC. I guess I could wait til Monday and call Cummins but I'm messing with the set up of my VMSpc and thought someone might know.

Seems like I have had this info before but I'll be darned if I can find it.

RV Temps Max & Mims 2007 ICS 330
Engine Coolant Temp, Max coolant temperature will be 236 degrees.
Trans Oil Temp Max transmission engine temperature will be 260 degrees,
Intake Manifold Temp Below 180 degrees
Engine Oil Pressure Engine oil pressure can be as low as 10 lbs and can be in the high 30’s to 40’s at cold start.
Turbo Boost Pressure Turbo pressure will verify depending on the load of the engine (throttle).
Should be in the area of 20-40 on the pressure reading.
Percent Load Percentage of load is how much throttle you are asking for when the throttle is engaged.

Your engine will have two maximum rpm's, one for WOT (wide open throttle) and one for the exhaust brake. I can't remember what your engine runs but it is something like 2300-2400 rpm (WOT) and about 2600 rpm max for the exhaust brake operation.

And I may be wrong on this, but I know it is close. You wiill get an over-temperature warning at 220 degrees. That will not shut down the engine, just a warning the engine is getting too hot.

FWIW The governed RPM is 2200, it is also listed on the ECU located in the forward electrical bay on the driver's side. I also agree with the 2600 RPM for the acBrake but can not find it anywhere. My unit is not going up to the 2600 RPM limit while using the PacBrake and I can not find out why!
