We've been enjoying our new motorhome for the past 2+ weeks, with most of the time spent at the TT park in Santa Barbara and visiting with family. We're getting ready to move north and utilize the TT system some more.

Even though we liked the "old" 2007 La Palma a lot and our Cayman is only one model up, we have both noticed a big difference in the 'fit and finish', not counting all the upgraded items that we wanted to add to the La Palma. Rick mentioned today that maybe the reason we are not finding any problems is that this coach was prepped for the Monaco Pre-Rally and the FMCA International Convention. Or maybe it's a difference in the models or from a 2007 to a 2008 where they paid more attention to detail?

In the La Palma I was constantly touching up rough wood seams with the Minwax stain pen. Not that this one is perfect, but there are just a lot less issues. A lot less!

We will be in Oregon mid- to late-April to get some items resolved, so there will be a meeting between the Toll Troll (MM) and the Micster. (It's been nice and relaxing here, but not as much fun as it could have been if our iRV2 friends were here. We'll try to catch up on email to our iRV2 friends.)

That's great! Finding (and dealing with) hidden bugs is always a concern when moving up to a new motorhome. Looks as though you've lucked out so far.

Sure glad to hear that your New Cayman is all you hoped for. Now if I can just get the JACKS down alarm to stay off while driving I will be happy. (YES I did inspect for full retraction on all 3 units) I bet it is low oil level again.

You say AGAIN... I'd be looking for a leak if that has happened before..Although I suppose there could have been air in the lines before..We have never had to add any fluid to ours in a year and a half..

Are you guys planning on heading north this summer? 'Cause we are not planning to return to AZ for another 120* summer. We'll be fishin' in Montana. (kinda looks like a flyrod. No?)

Hey Guys,
We're planning to head up and over to Newport Beach, OR for the Safari ralley at the "Outdoor Resort" there in July. You may be long gone by then, but I'm sure we'll bump into each other on the road sometime. Ya just can't hide with a computer around anyway. Great travels are on the horizon!

All our RV friends are leaving us for cooler weather. Cannot wait until we can join them all!

abray...
Wooo-Hooo! The "Troll" will put you on next year's calendar. The area is always green and lush (translation - it rains a lot...but I have been told that summers are great!)
