I got an email today announcing the '08s were now on the site. I excitedly went there to be totally bummed that it appears that they have discontinued my floorplan, and that there are now only three floorplans offered in the Knight.
The PLQ was offered in the Knight and Camelot up until last year. I think this is the best floorplan available (for me!), and dreamed of someday upgrading to a Camelot 42PLQ. Not any more.
Hopefully they will bring it back by the time I am ready to upgrade. The rear office is so unique, and I have not seen a floorplan like it. Maybe I will have to consider the American Eagle with a mid-office layout.
I am sad.

I went online after I got that same email, Kev. I was hoping to see that PLQ in the Dip...I felt very let down by the lack of floorplans AND the color combination. I then went to see if the HR floorplans were up yet....NADA
Oh well, we can only hope that Monaco brings it back! (I would actually love to see a full slide PLQ!!) ....ok...so I dream BIG!!!

My wife was down in California and ventured over to see what Tim had at DeMartini's. We have been looking at the Diplomat PDQ, and she was shocked by the color combinations being offered this year. After looking online at the new color combinations, I agree completely with her.
We have returned to the notion of locating an '07, staying with the color combination we liked.
Although this forum isn't about any specific dealer, I gotta tell you that my wife was incredibly impressed with Tim and his staff. She is still talking about how these guys do business, their knowledge of the products they sell, the assistance they provided her and all without the pressure that comes with buying a rig of this nature. I applaud anyone whom can get a raving review like this from my wife, she is one tough cookie .
We too, can only hope that we get some of these current lineups back to where this consumer is willing to buy something coming off the assembly line.

I don't get it either. Musta been a private joke.
In any event I agree with Kev and M-Momma. I would have liked to see the PLQ survive, as it was a great floor plan. I also think the color schemes for 2008 are awful. Glad I bought in 2007.
I noticed Monaco cut way back on floor plan selection on all coaches from the Camalot on down. They must be looking to save some big bucks. They are still pushing the SKQ with the front galley across the line, however. That was new for 07. I wonder how that floorplan is selling. It seems like it would take some getting used to. Two immediate things that come to mind is that the driver and co-pilot seats are no longer part of the living area, and it might be a little more awkward if traveling with more than two people. However, a 37" LCD TV would be nice!

May I present the 2008 "Tommy Bahama" color scheme!! This is MCPO Ret's coach scheme...It is so MUCH NICER than what they have on the web for color scheme!

Actually there is one very similar to that on the web site called "Vintage Masters" Maybe the base coat is a lighter. And the yellow may be oranger. Hmmm. Never mind.

Looks like you are right Robin - the design is the same - do think the colors vary a little - we think it looks pretty nice - hope the real thing does too.
