Now would be the time for some Monaco techs to open a service center. I know that there are 2 in the Elkhart area but more will be needed. If Gauranty can manage to stay in business they cannot handle a new load of customers. I envision a smart ex employee(s) opening a facility in the Mid west and another on the coast. The work is out there. I bet they would be eligible for some government funding. Especially in the Coburg area.

I think the Techs in Oregon would have a tougher row to hoe going independent than those in Michigan and Ind did. There are a lot of independent and specialty RV shops in the Eugene, Coberg, Junction city and Harrisburg area already. Absorbing the business created by Monaco and CC shutting down would probably be easy due to the general slowdown in business. As it is the Monaco and CC shops were doing mostly warranty work which has dried up.
We're going that way (Oregon) in July, possibly we'll be able to see what has happened there.
