Entry door rattle

I have an 06 HR Admiral. I can't seem to find a way to get rid of the entry door rattling when traveling down the road. I have had it adjusted twice when in for service, but no success. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Entry door rattle

We experienced the same irritating rattle from our entry door .
Found the rattle was coming from the interior door handle . Solved the issue by making a O ring out of Rescue Tape , slipping the O ring over the handle and rolling to where the handle meets the escutcheon plate. This put just enough tension on the handle to stop the rattle.

I have the same problem, tighten and adjusted everything no help. It's a common problem with the Monaco's and HR.

I finally wrapped black electrical tape around the big round thing that sticks out from the door frame that the latch hooks onto (you know..the one that catches your shirt sleeve as you exit).

This is the solution. Try it and see for yourself.

Same here! Just have to replace the tape occasionally! Mine was squeaking, not rattling, but I guess it could cause either

Never had an HR or Monaco, but have had two units with the dreaded squeaking between the bolt and latch. Same fix. A couple wraps of electrical tape and all's good...for a while anyway.

I've found that you can't use a lot of tape because then the door won't close correctly. Just one wrap works for me.

Our Pace Arrow did the same but locking both locks seemed to help a bunch.

X2, mine was rattling between the screen door to the door itself. It had a little bumper but it was not a soft rubber, more like plastic and had just enough space to rattle. A small piece of weatherstripping rubber cured it.
