Entry stair lights

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering about entry lights going up the stairs [on the right as you are entering the coach]. Our RV has two lights [bulbs look like fuses]
..... is there a switch for these somewhere?

New motorhome to me, and the lights seem to be on all the time, but I can't seem to find any sort of switch to turn them off. Is there such a switch??...

2006 Monaco La Palma

Thanks,
jb

There should be a toggle switch next to the passenger seat.

Find your coach number (ours is outside to left of door) and call Monaco.
Monaco Coach
If you don't have a manual they might be able to find you one. You can download a brochure for your La Palma from the same website that lists contact information--scroll all the way down to Brochure Archive. Most of the posters here are diesel owners and asking them questions about a gasser may not get correct answers. Also, Monaco made so many different coaches during its heyday in the same year that often confuses things worse. Call, it is a treasure of information.

Frank, they made both gas and diesel versions of his rig in 06. If it is a diesel coach the switch for the stair well lights is located next to the passenger seat.

Yup, you're right. Just trying to save the OP lots of confusion, and help him ala ...teach a man to fish...rather than give him one fish.
Of course some folks enjoy reading 30 emails or so, even if the OP's question is never correctly answered or sometimes even addressed. I am not against the fellowship of a cyber campfire, but some folks actually want to find things out about their particular coach, and not so much about another coach five levels up the Monaco pecking order that doesn't apply to them. Just to be sure, I checked and found via the current AVS Monaco website that we can still download the manual for our 09 Cayman. Its the same as the one we were given when we bought our Cayman new.

good luck learning where all the switches are - still learning them myself !!!

My Ah HA one was the drivers map light --- since the passenger map light has a switch right handy... shirley there's one for the driver !?!

Well, DOOH!
it's the headlight switch that I can't get to...
between my well rounded beer belly and the tilt of the wheel - it just ain't happenin' without moving the wheel or leaning WAY over (both are not good if driving )
