Posted this in General Discussion and so far opinion is to use PVC.

Moved my Gen-Turi system to our new (to us) coach and find I need about 12 inches more pipe to clear the roof of the coach. Thought about using PVC but thought maybe someone knows if Gen-Turi sells short extensions or maybe there's another source or idea for extending the stack about 12 inches. Thanks.

Richard..... I bought an extension for my gen-Turi from Camping World. It was special order. If you need further info I will try and find receipt to get part number.

I would think you could go to a custom muffler shop and see if they have a scrap piece of pipe that is the right size. The shops around here have all kinds of scrap. Good Luck

CAMCO which makes Gen-Turi sells an 18" extension with coupler....part number 44872. You see it at their web site www.camco.net under RV hardware.

Like the OP, I don't like the way the pipe ends a little below the roof line, and was looking for a piece of PVC I could use to make an extension, but I hadn't been able to find something light enough that would look right.

Thank you! Like the OP, I have also been looking for the extension. I had seen the part number for the extension that Mike & Nancy posted, but I had not been able to find a source for it. Thanks for posting the link, I now have one on order.

PROBLEM SOLVED: Lowe's carries a 3 inch PVC pipe that has an expanded 4 inch flange on one end. Flange fits perfectly over the top stack end. The PVC is thin wall (Lowe's term) so not a lot of weight at the top of the stack. Some black paint and it'll be ready for this weekend. Only drawback the PVC only comes in 8 ft lengths so I have some extra PVC to put to some other use.
