2004 Endeavor. The yellow light located under the steps is burned out. I am mechanically inclined BUT I can not for the life of me get the cover off to change the bulb. It does not screw off. No indent to pop it off using a screwdriver. HELP...

I actually ran extension wires from the Orange light and mounted a small light above the steps...much better and very simple to do. You can get the 12v lights at auto parts stores, I used a small clearence light.

If it's the round yellow/orange original Kwikee light it is just a tight pressure fit. Work a screwdriver under the edge. It will pop off.

Since your working on it why not just rewire with a couple led strips under each step end? Your choice of colors, no more replacing bulbs. I just bought a white strip a Walmart and wired it in place at the bottom step.
