Extra bay door on 2008 Monaco Knight?

How do you unsecure the bay door that is hinged on one side but secured on the other? I would like access to this area that is next to the H/W heater. All I can see is a double flange that is coated with spray foam. Is this door accessible? Thanks!

There are usaually two L brackets that you can see through the gap that are held in with one screw each. You can just get a square headed screw driver in the gap to remove them. The panel at the fuel door is the same way. At least this is the way my 2007 Knight is.

Did you find another way to secure the door after removing the screws?

No not really. It is rare that I go into those compartments, so when I do I just remove the two screws.
