Fan

Does anyone know what the fan that on the left rear of a 98 Dynasty is from.
The motor has a ford name on it. It's for cooling the engine compartment.

My neighbor has a 98 Dynasty , and I've helped with some repairs.
Is the fan in question , behind a grill and a small radiator like unit, behind the left rear wheel ; that swings out for access?
If this sound like where your fan is , the fan is for moving cooling air through the dash air conditioner's evaporator , and only cycles when the dash air conditioning compressor is cycling. The fan is probably from a FWD Ford product and is for cooling the radiator.
Ford is big on putting part numbers on everything they make, did you have a real close look ?
