I have replaced the rear AC and control box. After running on high or auto the fan cuts and and the compressor continues to run. On low it runs fine. Does any have any ideas?

Thanks for you help.

It will help people help you if you let them know the year and model of coach you have. If you know the make and model of the AC unit and control that might help people give you advise.

This is on a 2004 Monaco Diplomat. The AC is a Dometic 13500 btu AC only unit and is brand new. The controller is new also.

Brand new should have a warranty.
Find Dometic repair place.

Latest update. I have had a Dometic Certifide man working on this unit since day one.

He first replaced the air-conditioner. That was a bad unit and Dometic shipped him another. He installed it and the fan would cut off after about 15 mins of running on auto or high. No problem on low.

Dometic said to replace the control box and he did. Same problem.

He talked to Dometic and they said that unit had a bad fan motor. This meant that the first unit had a bad compressor and fan motor because it cut off after 15 minutes.

Dometic shipped him a new fan motor and he just installed it. Guess what. The fan still cut off in 15 minutes.

This is very strange.

Any ideas.

He asked Dometic if they checked the systems out before they shipped them and received no answer.

Getting frustrated.
