Filter cross-reference chart

Any where I might find a list of mfg's (Fleetguard, Donaldson, Baldwin etc)
and part numbers for my 2006 Diplomat?

Are there also Cummins branded filters available?

Oil, minimum 1 hour shut down , overnight preferred.
Trans fluid, hot .
Hydraulic fluid , cold.

Do you have the Allison trans users manual ? It's a free download at the Allison web site.

Fleetguard is Cummins filters and coolant division. Stick with Allison brand high capacity filters for the transmission.

Wow, guess I should have read this before I bought locally.

I just got these Baldwin parts for my '06 Cummins ISL 400.

air filter # RS3548 $64.33
transmission filter kit # PT9415-MPG $72.89
shipping $20.15
tax $10.29

total $167.66

Yikes!

As for the Baldwin brand, you're OK. The company I used to work for (fleet of trucks), we did an extensive study regarding filters. The end result was to save money but not sacrifice quality. Naturally, the products had to meet the specs of all the big component manufacturers such as Cummins, Cat, Allison, Mack, etc. Baldwin was our selection.

I try to support local when I can, too. Most times I order online. Amazon carries a lot of my filters although best price for my Racor is from Ebay.
