Hi all,
I just wanted to say that I met AkTrek yesterday. He and his wife were our neighbors in Fairbanks, Alaska and lived right across the street. He even worked at the same power plant that I did years ago. Yet I never did get to meet them when they were living so close to us. We did talk a couple of times via "irv2".

My wife and I were walking the dogs at the RV park where we're currently staying when my wife saw the license plate on their Safari Trek. I just had to knock on their door. Too bad it was late in the day because we have plenty to talk about. Sounds like a perfect reason to have a couple beers in the fridge all ready for later. It's funny that we actually met face to face down here in Camp Verde, AZ. It's a looong way (and warmer) than Fairbanks, AK!

Well met AkTrek!

How cool was that!!

Sorry our schedules didn't allow for more chatting, but like Wheeled Ships traveling on the Rivers of Asphalt, we never really know who we will meet or where next we will sail. We hope our paths will cross again and we'll have more time for friendship and fellowship on our next passing.
