Showing a freind the controls on 99 Windsor with Alison 3060 trans yesterday and discovered that with trans in netrual

1. Turn on cruise control
2. Hit set buttton
3. Idle increased to approx 1400 RPM
4. Hitting set button up/down RPM toggled between approx 1400 and 1500 RPM

This should work great for air up.

Makes me wonder what else I don't know about my machine... James

With the cruse control off, and engine running, hit the set button to lower engine idle speed or hit the resume button to raise the rpm speed. Once you get it where you want it, press the on/off button to save the new idle speed.

James,
Your comment would be more helpful if it was clear what make and model you have. You can include that info in your signature.

Does anyone know if my 2005 Holiday Rambler Ambassador uses this system? The manual shows a idle switch located between headlight switch and windshield wiper switch. Mine has no switch there or anywhere else I can find. Manual has no reference to idle switch other than the picture.
