Good afternoon everyone.

We plan to take our spring "shake-down cruise" in the next several weeks and would like to visit the Fredericksburg area. We are looking for a well managed campground with full hook-ups and wifi. We will be traveling with our border collie and will want to leave her in "doggie daycare" for one or two days. Our motor home is a couple inches shy of 40' with 4 slides. Any recommendations or comments will be appreciated from people that have camped in the area or live in the area.

Thanks

We live just north of there in Stafford and have stayed at the KOA twice. It's clean, quiet and about 10-15 miles west from the historic downtown area. They have free wifi too.

Another vote for the KOA. We stay there when passing thru but wouldn't hesitate to stay for an extended trip.
