Years ago I stopped in a rest area and noticed water pouring out the vent. Looked and it was about 1/4 d own. I didn't have time to fuss with it at the moment, so I figured I'd deal with it when I stopped for the night. Like a moron, I took a loose bolt put it into the vent to stop the leak. Then I forgot to pull the bolt out when I got parked later and started filling the tank. I suddenly realized what I'd done, shut off the water and looked at the tank. It had swelled....a lot, pushing up on the black and gray water tanks above it. Turns out it also actually split the fresh water tank...on the bottom. Long story short, when I got home, had to pull the tank and plastic weld the split. Total PITA.
Not really funny for sure!!
