Fresh water tank reading empty on Aladdin system

My fresh water tank shows it is empty on the Aladdin monitoring system.
before I dig into this, I thought I would ask here is there are any typical or common problems I should start with.

The dash gauge and the digital step-gauge in the wet bay compartment both say the tank is empty. it is actually more than half full. The Black and grey tanks seem to be reading normally.

I found the Aladdin Tank interface module. All of the connectors are plugged in.

I can not see where the fresh water tank sensor is located. I belive it is on the bottom of the tank or teed into the drain pipe at the bottom. I'll need to craw under coach and find this.

Is there anything I should be looking for (or testing for)? Are the tank sensors known to fail?

Also are the gray, black and fresh water sensors the same part?

I'm having an issue with our fresh water tank quantity also. I finally found the pressure transducer. Our black and gray tank sensors are on the drivers side just behind the wet bay white board under and behind the faucet. The fresh water tank is accessed on the passenger side from the aft bay with the water pump. There is a small 4" x 4" removable white panel that provides access to the bottom of the water tank bay just aft. The sensor is screwed into the bottom of the tank. The key to finding it is tracing the RJ11 telephone cable.

All of our tanks use the same sensor. I purchase new ones from Catcon Products:

Yes the sensors are problematic but usually it’s the blk/gry tanks that are the issue because of the solids that collect. Mines never worked correctly and my neighbor is always replacing his. You can try recalibration or replace it with a SeeLevel system for more accurate and trouble free readings.

I found my sensor. On my coach, the freshwater tank is in the first compartment (curb side) located along with the Aqua-hot unit.

From the second compartment next to this tank, looking over the divider wall between compartments, i can see the fresh water sensor at the bottom of the tank about mid-tank.

There is no removable panel on mine and no way to reach it form the top. I would have to cut an access panel at the bottom of that divider wall.

But first I would like to confirm that the sensor is bad.

Vito, the link to the sensor you provided says the threads are 3/4" NPT (p/n 500-10050-07) https://www.shop.catconproducts.com/...3plqscsfapp003

and NW RV Supply has one which is p/n 16622728 (Monaco or Aladdin number I assume) but the description says the threads are 1" NPT. http://www.nwrvsupply.com/product/16622728.html

Another source for the sensor is Veurinks RV.

Attached is the Aladdin tank interface module installation and calibration instructions. This document covers Monaco, Holiday Rambler, Beaver, and Safari coaches in detail. The title says 2004, but it covers 2003-2006 and should be applicable to 2007. This is the best tank calibration guide I've been able to find.

It says the pressure sensors are 3/4" MPT. I'll be able to confirm that later today when I replace mine.

If you can get an arm down into the slot where your sensor is you should be able to remove it. The best way to install them is with plenty of teflon tape and only 1/4 turn beyond hand tight.

Just installed my new sensor. It is 3/4" MPT. Both Catcon and Veurinks list it as 3/4" MPT.
The thread OD measures 1.050" which is 3/4" MPT, so maybe the guys at Northwest RV made a mistake.

I've tried cleaning these before but it's never worked out. The membrane inside is too sensitive.
