When I open the fresh water drain valve the water just trickles out. Thinking there was something blocking the drain, I tried blowing air pressure into the outlet with drain valve open. I can hear the air going into the tank but this still did not improve the drain rate.... drip, drip, drip. Any ideas? Of course I can drain via opening sink valves then draining gray water but shouldn't I be able to drain the fresh water tank directly and quickly? I have a 1999 Monaco Windsor.

Did you open the faucets inside the coach to allow the air to escape the tank? Did you set the control panel at the service compartment to drain the tanks? If all else fails get out the owners manual.

My gues it the valve is not opening. Remove and repair the valve or replace it. I am asuming it is a 1-1/2" or 2" PVC ball valve. Hopefully a Ball Union Valve but probably a glued valve. Bottom line verify the valve is really opening all the way.

I know mine is only a Vacationer, but when I have to winterize it there is an additional in line valve that is hidded behind the panel. It allows me to put in anti-freeze by by-passing the tank. You can't see it head on, but if you get down low you can. Maybe that is turned the wrong way, or -maybe you don't have one.

I have seen this before on other products (including a refrigerator water line on/off valve)...I am with Buford B...check the valve...probably not opening even though the handle turns. There is a vent opening on the top of the tank that anyone who has overfilled their water tank willl quickly discover as the water comes out...doubt it is a vacum block.

Mike, I always wondered what would happen if I overfilled, figured there was a overfill drain, just didn't give it a thought here. Kinda blows my theory out of the water (pun intended)

I dont know what state you are in,but in georgia our dealership spent half our time straitening clothes hangers to ream out the drain lines, because of dirt daubers. I think your lines are clogged with wasp or spider nest.
