We have a 2008 Camelot and the Dometic side by side does not seem to be as cool as the thermostat reads. It reads 33 degrees on the fridge side and 1 degree on the freezer side. We are level on a concrete pad with 50 amp service. Any advice would be appreciated

ok, thermostat confirmed not cooling. I am connected to 50amp. Took a ride yesterday and lo and behold it started cooling. Why would it not be working while on shore power?

When you went for a ride was it running on propane or did you have it running on electric from generator? On electric there is a elect. heating element to heat the ammonia solution, on propane it uses a flame supplied by the propane.

chillin47......Most all new refers have the AUTO switch. Obviously, it tells the refer to run on whatever power source it sees, propane or electricity, defaulting to electricity. The only time the AUTO switch needs to be turned off is when you want to force the refer to work only on propane. This comes up when you have 30 amp service and need to minimize how many amps you're drawing so you can run a heater or roof air.
Its been a few days since you posted, so you I don't know if you got your answer. It sounds weird that it ran on the generator, but not on shore power, especially if everything else is working. If it happens again, you could have a bad campground recptacle or power cord end. Your power cord, when connected to 50 amps, is actually like plugging into two outlets. Its getting power from two sources and supplying it to your coach. A 30 amp plug has three wires and gets power on one wire. The 50 amp is getting power on 2 of its four wires. One side that supplys your refer breakers could have been dead.
I have a SurgeGuard power supply protector on my coach. When I plug into shore power, the first thing it does is tell me if the power is wired correctly and if I'm receiving power on both sides of the 50 amp plug.
Lastly, the refers basically have a small computer board and sometimes just need something to make then reboot or restart correctly, like driving around with the generator on.

If you drove it without the gen. running, the ref. would switch over to gas. It sounds like the heating element is burned out.

Ok I have another couple of issues I need help with please....my bathroom panel light switches are dead! The orange led lights are lighted, but we cannot get any of the lights to come on.
Secondly, the left side of our sleep number bed deflates on it's own. Lazy days sent us a new mattress yet this new one does the same thing. Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated

Sounds like you are "haunted".
There is a GFI circuit breaker in the bathroom (in my coach anyway) that will leave you without power in some receptacles when it trips. Check that.

Not sure where your GFI may be located, mine is at the bathroom sink. Can't really see a trip, just push the reset button to be sure.
