Front Window Drapes

Our front window drapes have seen better days, looking to replace with new ones.
Has anyone else done this?
If so from who did you purchase from,

Thanks
John

I'm interested too...mine look like they have water damage, like someone left the window open during a rain storm! I don't want to drop a lot of money into day/night shades so simple replacements would be great.

My front drapes look as tho the last owner went to WalMart and bought 6 home drapes and sewed them himself.
They to are showing thier age, just like me, but I can't find any commercial drapes short enough, with the heavy liner.

Front Window Curtains

Our 2001 Dynasty has the same problem. We have searched for complete ready made Curtains but have not been successful. In our research we learned that the Pinch Pleat Curtains with Blackout as our originals are do not seem to be readily available. Even if we found them that would require a lot of work.
Would love to find some sources.
Robert

Bought ours through CW. Custom ordered for size, good quality, fit nice. Were more expensive than I expected, but less in price to what Monaco wanted.

I made new curtains. I'm NOT a talented seamstress but they came out nicely anyway. I wanted longer front curtains that went to the floor rather than stop at the dash -- didn't like looking at the steering wheel and instrument panels. Also hate black-out curtains. So I wanted privacy but still prefer outside light to filter in.

Anyway, borrowed sister's sewing machine, bought materials at discount fabric store, and racked my brain to remember 7th grade Home Economics from almost 30 years ago. Came out well, and was not as hard as I feared. :-)

I have tried as many curtain companies as I could find. So far None Offer Blackout Curtains. Anyone know of a company that does?
I believe the originals are close to Blackout.

I bought blackout material and had a seamstress sew it on. Works great and was inexpensive.

New Drapes, but no hangers

OK, So we had new drapes made through RV Supply Warehouse. The drapes are nice (not cheap, but nice) only problem is I need additional curtain carriers as the pleat spacing is different, and I can't find hangers that match the existing. 2001 Monaco Dynasty.

We went to Shopko and bought pre-made blackout units and just had them sewn together and shorten the length. They were on sale for $8.88 a panel and I bought 6 panels to cover the opening with plenty of materal to spare. We even made tie backs out of the left over material. JR

Stained Shades

TxRvMan
We had that water stain problem. My wife washed and soaked the shades (whitish colored), in the washer with OxyClean and they came out fine.
