2008 Endeavor has a fuel leak around the drain plug. Has anyone had this problem and if so, what was the remedy?????? The allen screw drain plug seems to be tight.

Our 2007 Scepter developed a leak at the same spot. Turns out the weld that holds the drain plug fitting in was poor and leaking. Solution was to take it to the shop. They drained and removed the tank. Rewelded the drain plug fitting and replaced the tank. Cost about $750, but was covered by my extended service policy.

Had the same leak. Used some jb weld and it stopped leaking for 2 months but started again. Ended up pulling the tank and welding a plate where the drain plug bung is. welded new bung in the center of the plate. Not that hard of a job, but it takes two men and a boy to lift that tank.

Thanks for all the replies. Think what I'm going to do after talking to a welder is place several spot welds/tacks around the bung so we don't overheat that area. If that doesn't work we'll drop the tank and replace or repair the bung as needed. Will let you all know of the sucess of the spot welds.
