I have a 2001 Monaco Exucutive. I lost power inside the coach, and found an issue in the engine compartment electrical box. The small red wire in the middle had burned in half, overheated. I replaced the wire, and when putting it back together, the stud broke loose in black box. Burned up inside. I put the wire on the other stud, should be on the right one with out a nut, and need to replace what I think is a fusible link?

Any one know where to get these? Thank's to all the helpfull souls on this forum, Tom.

I just Googled "fusible link" and found several hours worth of reading. Appears to be available at most auto parts stores.

It's hard to tell from your picture, but the "small red wire" looks pretty heavy for a fusible link. It looks like it is connected to a number of self resetting breakers "the black boxes." My suspicion is that one of those self resetting breakers had a poor contact in it and the resulting heat is what burned up the wire and loosened the stud. Those self resetting breakers should be marked somewhere and I wouldn't be surprised to find that they are at least 100amp breakers.

Thank you RCL. Took it apart this AM, you are correct. They are 150 amps. Went to a Monaco authorized shop, along with part stores, and it is a special order. Got a part number for Monaco and will order it monday.
