Just trying to learn about my new coach.
Dumb question here..
I have a 2009 Camelot and it has a Garmin GVN 52 remote unit and the remote controle , but there is no display. When I activate the volume button on the remote the voice works thru the speekers. But where does it display?
Does it display thru Voyager monitor, or do they all come wired with the remote unit and then you have to install a display screen?
Thanks,
PR

I don't have the Kenwood display. The only display I have is the Voyager flat screen for the cameras. Seems funny that they installed the CVN 52 at the factory but no display. Wonder if I can get the display installed?
Thanks

Promine,
The Garmin will come up on the screen. You need to toggle the right button on controller. I have a joy stick in mine, which is different than yours. Late 08 used a new controller (buttons on the dash) and then sometime with the 09's they changed it again. Maybe you could post a picture of your controller. What did the owners manual describe for the nav system. Sometimes they are accurate and sometimes they copy the directions from the year before.
It is there and we'll find it.

I don't know how Monaco does it, but my Newmar has that GPS unit. It shows up on one of my video monitors, after I use the turn signals. That is, when I start the unit the video monitor shows one of the blind spot cameras. After toggling one of the turn signals on then off, the GPS shows up. Do you have a camera select switch? Try each of the inputs while playing with the turn signals to see if you get the GPS output.

On my '09 Endeavor, I have a GVN 52 unit. I was not very happy with the user-interface (remote only), so I used the factory GPS antenna to hook up my tried and true Garmin 7200 on my dash. Threw the GVN 52 out. Now I can use my cameras all the time and use my touch screen 7200 at eye level. Much better.

Yeah, I'm getting ready to yank out my GVN 52 as well. Since I don't like the factory audio system either, I'm going to replace with a double-DIN combo unit. Probably one of the Kenwood units. I just need to get a replacement dash panel from Newmar (the '09 one fits mine and has the cutout for the double DIN unit).

Thanks for the input.
I found that with the Voyager display..just keep hitting the select button on the flat screen , past the camera displays and the Garmin comes up. Looks like it is going to work great.
Will let you know how it does on the road.
