Not on topic, but I have a 2007 Monaco Cayman that had an altercation with a Walmart sign ($10K damage to rig). Now my gen access door goes all of the way to the bottom stop which of course is fiberglass. Does anyon know if the gen door linkage has any kind of springs on it? This would keep the door from hitting the bottom when opening. If there were springs on it the repair shop didn't reinstall them after the repair. Thanks and Semper Fi

On my HR Endeavor I have chains that are attached to the top of the door then to the coach. This keeps the door from falling to the ground.

I guess today might be a bad hair one, but here goes. I've tried my best on this forum to give answers to problems I have had and sent a reply to a direct request on Cayman fuel sensor problems, even referring the problems to the sensor mfg. for comments and suggestions. I did ask the person I sent the info to, to do me a simple favor; Open the generator access door on his Cayman and tell me if there is anything such as springs etc. I received one reply from Poltax for which I'm grateful, but the question related to a Cayman rather than other HR or Monaco models. So, I guess my point is that the forums are based on give and take on problems and all of us should keep that in mind. It's a great forum and the only one that I use. By the way my fuel level problem still exists and I really don't get any help from Monaco. I guess that in that respect I'm not unique.
Everyone have a blessed Christmas. God bless and Semper Fi

joelsr, I'll be happy to look at mine when I get off tonight. It's about 20 miles from here at the Rv park. Some of us regretfully are working. If you need a pix I can get that also. I just received your post here a few minutes ago.

joel i too am posting picture ignorant on the forum, but I've sent them to your email address in your profile. I do not have any springs on mine.
You see the stop pin on the picture that keeps mine from going all the way down to the fiberglass.
