The fact that you can hear the pump running means the switch is good and there are no safety interlocks on. First thing to check is that the batteries are good and fully charged. If you are not spinning that hydraulic pump up fast enough then it will not have enough pressure. Can you move a slide in and out? If the slide works ok then your batteries are good. You should also check the fluid level in the pump tank. The next thing would be that the generator slide is stuck and maybe have somebody pull on it while you work the switch. If all that doesn't work then I guess that the solenoid that controls the hydraulic fluid for that loop is stuck or the connector to the solenoid is off or dirty or the cylinder is bad. It is most likely a Lippert System.
Try going up on this website for Lippert Components. They have some good PDF manuals for the system Owners Manuals

If all else fails then call them. They are friendly and helpful.

Mike...you are not alone. There seems to be a problem with '02 Windsor hydraulic generator slide rams. I had the same problem that started as intermittent, then just quit. It turns out the ram locked up and this caused the pump to fail. In our case the pump was replaced under the extended warranty that we got at the time of purchase of our used Windsor. Then it was discovered that the ram was locked but had to be handled as a separate issue...... I think Dr4Film on this forum has the same issue. Yours is the third one I have heard of on this forum. When the shop took the old ram off, it had no identifying numbers or manufacturer. They took some measurements and ordered a new part based on that information. I'm sorry, but don't have that info. I'm thinking the mechanism was not used very much and came from Florida, so moisture may have been an issue (just guessing). As a maintenance thing I open it up once a month now just to keep things moving.

Thanks Diplomat Don for the heads up on this post.
