I am very comfortable with my MH at the end of the season when I put it away for the winter. Come spring I believe someone comes into my coach and changes everything. I can't find anything. But by the end of the camping season I have it all figured out again. Till next spring......

Our coach is a year newer than yours, you may have the new style switches and wiring or the old style. We have the new style, and the switches are in strange places all over the coach.

Took me 6 months to find the final light switch for the over the table lights. Found it because I was on my hands and knees doing something and looked up and found the switch was under the overhead cabinet behind a valance. The switch to put out the over the window awning was hidden in the same place.

The generator start/stop switch in the bedroom is reversed, so are the grey/black tank valves. The fancy electronic toilet (great idea, don't know how we lived so long with manual toilets!) sometimes flushes with one push, sometimes you need to push the add water side of the switch, then flush, sometimes you need to push it 5 or 6 times. Visitors need a lesson before they can use the toilet.

Lots of little tricks, non obvious procedures, fuses scattered all over the coach, etc. Oh, and I have the manuals for the prior year that describes the old system of wires and switches. Last point, the tech support people at Monaco do try to help, but they have been wrong more often than right in my experience. I don't know how you own one of these if you are not handy and reasonably analytical. And without the help of this site and a few others I'd be at sea without a compass.

AS you can see from all of the responses that you are not alone. Our new coach has been with us for just over two years and today we spent quite a bit of time in an attempt to learn more about it by studying the three operators Manuals that came with it. That is not mentioning all the separate manuals that are in the bag about the inverter, the generator, hot water heater, the TV's, the, the, the,,,,, etc. We made the decision to learn the gotta know's today and take the rest of em as we found the need!
Good luck, and enjoy the trip!
