Interesting that you mention AutoPark, I had a GM P30 chassis with that but we called it by a different name that I'm sure violates Forum Rules to share. I bought factory service manuals for GM & WH for that chassis so I knew which parts (almost 100%) were still the same. I tried several times to get parts thru Workhorse and they adamantly refused because I had no WH VIN. GM no longer made or supported the chassis, and WH refused since I was not their original customer. I had forgotten about that. Hope that isn't the attitude about Monaco chassis products for sure; that would be suicide for NMon.
(That doesn't sound too much like Enron, does it?)

I was told that about 3500 coaches were in the same boat as mine... Meaning that warranties were no good, or that warranty work that had been approved was now denied...Now I DO have a horse in this race, and while the new Monaco has no legal obligation to pay for the work that was done to my coach, it would be the right thing to do...Remember this, Navistar bought Monaco for a "song", and it was a very short song at that. Navistar could step up to the plate and do the right thing and still come out way ahead in this deal. As it is now, I'll always remember how I was treated and when it's time to buy a new coach (I'm still fairly young at 52) I'll be looking else where rather than Monaco. If I wind up having to pay for the warranty work that Monaco authorized then I'm really going to have a rash.....I had to have the roof rebuilt on my coach to the tune of about 22K, and I'm not liking having to pay for the sorry workmanship of Monaco.

Charles,

My best guess, as I've said before, is that Navistar will handle outstanding warranty issues with some sort of "compromise" on a case-by-case basis. Unless they want to take the hard and staunch approach, I don't see that they have any other choice. The PR that has come out so far would seem to indicate that possibility.

I can certainly understand why you are upset. I'd be mad too, in your place. But while there may be 3500 coaches in similar circumstances, every case is also unique, and every owner has a different "story" to tell, with assorted facts, or non-facts, to back them up. Given your "unique" situation, I think I know how I'd proceed.
