I was told that about 3500 coaches were in the same boat as mine... Meaning that warranties were no good, or that warranty work that had been approved was now denied...Now I DO have a horse in this race, and while the new Monaco has no legal obligation to pay for the work that was done to my coach, it would be the right thing to do...Remember this, Navistar bought Monaco for a "song", and it was a very short song at that. Navistar could step up to the plate and do the right thing and still come out way ahead in this deal. As it is now, I'll always remember how I was treated and when it's time to buy a new coach (I'm still fairly young at 52) I'll be looking else where rather than Monaco. If I wind up having to pay for the warranty work that Monaco authorized then I'm really going to have a rash.
....I had to have the roof rebuilt on my coach to the tune of about 22K, and I'm not liking having to pay for the sorry workmanship of Monaco.
