But a 34' should have a lower GVW, so the 275hp may be fine.

Dang it, I haven't even got it home yet and now I have to go find these lenses! That's one of the things I noticed was a little haze on the light lenses.
Thanks everyone for the input, I'm feeling better about the purchase knowing I have a resource for odds and ends. My wife really likes this coach.

I agree the 275HP is A-OK I was just giving some pointers on driving it up grades, also at the end of the day his mileage will be very nice. deSanford

Congratulations on your Endeavor. We looked at a 2001 Endeavor but it sold before we got back to purchase it. Kept looking and ended up with a 2003 Endeavor and LOVE it. Great coach, lots of power.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the welcome being a cousin to the Diplomat but not really a Monaco. I have a few questions I thought I'd throw out there.
Carpet replacement.....how do you do it with a slide, anyone in the So California area do it and who did you use.
Shocks, the coach is approaching 60k miles and I'm sure the shocks are stock. Is one brand preferred on these?
Waxing and polishing alcoas.....The Endeavor isn't heavily oxidized but I would like to cut down the gel-coat and wax it. I'm seeing quotes of 18-20 bucks a foot for this, again any recommendations for Long Beach, Los angeles area. There's a bunch of guys on Craigslist but I prefer a seasoned guy that people know.
Thanks!

The carpet is easy to replace, just a lot of staples in spots.

U can do tile or vinyl also.
Any carpet store can do it no need for an RV shop.

Waxing is easy but $18 a foot is crazy, this is gel coat, go to boat supply and get some stuff to clean it up and then wax it, you can do it be hand it is easy, not like a painted coach.

Or

Craigs list is fine, just watch the guy for a while and let him do it or fire him try another.

Shocks I'll let others chime in on that.

The 5.9 Cummins you have, though the smallest diesel put in the HR's is no slouch. If you get on it, it will go.

The advice to get a run up to steep grades is good advice. My coach likes right around 1750 rpms on grades. If you can keep it there, you're good for the grade. If you find that you're in a gear at a decent speed and not losing rpm's.....let it roll like that until the grade is made. With any engine/trans, there's sweet spots.

You have a good coach and a very capable engine. Just keep her in good repair and she'll treat you right.
