Question? My 2008 Ambassador manual states that I have 3 grease fittings on the slack adjusters. I only find the one which is located on the top side. any help? Thanks JC

Depends on supplier. Some have three, but at a minimum two. One on each end of the shaft. The one towards the brake shoe end you definitely don't want to over grease. The brake can end may have one on opposite side (about 180) from the one you found already.

Yes....The manual from Monaco shows three, but some only have two. Do not over grease them, they'll cause the brakes to stick the first time you drive off.

The Slack adjusters are on motorhomes with air brakes. As the brake lining wears the slack adjusters will automatically ratchet on the return stroke as needed to keep the brakes at the proper adjsutemnt and they require lubrication. Mine it looks like have only two grease points, and the concern is over greasing!

Thanks for the help on location of slack adjusters lub points...I assume that my 08 Ambassador has only two after crawling under again to check...

Here is a picture of one of the front slack adjusters. the linkage goes to the brake drum.
