There are floor plans, chassis, engines, roofs, weight ratings, axels, color schemes, applicances, and all types of accessories. When deciding on a motorhome there are many choices and something for everyone.

Beyond all these choices there is also the reputation of the company and the history of their customer service. If someone has a bad experience, they are usually quick to share that with others. Bad news travels faster and more frequently than good news. USUALLY.

When we were deciding on the physical aspects of a motorhome we also looked closely at the reputation of the company and how they were known to treat their customers. This weighed heavily in our decision. We heard many good comments about Monaco's customer care. And so far Monaco has not disappointed us.

We had problems with our selling dealer and Monaco stood with us and connected us with a dealer who they knew would work with us. Fired our dealer

We knew it would take time to work out the bugs, but we finally feel the issues are resolved. Newly hired...

Until we needed to have the hitch, tow bar and supplimental braking system installed. broken wires...

After a couple discussions between the installer and Monaco, photos and documentation, Monaco is covering the cost of repairing the wires that got caught up in the fan. Monaco called it Customer Goodwill. We call it Great Customer Service. Thank you Monaco!

hmm - I picked Monaco because they had the nicest mud flaps

Great to hear about the good service. I have always been very impressed with how they have handled my few issues. I was a little bummed when I had a not-so-pleasant experience in Oregon, but they ended up taking care of everything and made sure I was a happy camper.

For this, and many other reasons, I will look at Monaco first if we ever decide we MUST have another coach.

kev, Let me know when you are ready to trade up your Knight! Send me an email!

We also would first consider a Monaco when we are ready to upgrade. I remember reading your past experience (A/C ?) and we try to learn from everyone's input.

Having documentation and a good attitude helped in this case.

I can only add my similar sentiments about Monaco, their products and their customer service. This is #7 for us and is planned to be our last one (well, maybe. See, there's this new Beaver floorplan I like...), and we couldn't be happier with the coach and the way we've been treated.

Sure, we've had our 'issues' but then coaches from ANY mfgr (even those 7-figure $$ ones) aren't perfect. Yeah, we expect something to never have any problems, but when you consider how complicated and detailed these things are, it sure is great that a mfgr will be willing to step up to the plate (even when it's not their fault) and do what's necessary to get it closer to that perfection we all envision we paid for.

Thanks Monaco!
