Here is a question I can't figure out...my 01 Dynasty has a ocked door on the drivers side that fills the grey water tank...what is the purpose of that...to rinse your grey water tanks???

huh??

On my Endeavor, it's the shower and sinks that fill the grey-water. What won't those high-end coaches have next. Imagine that, a device that evens fill the waste-water tanks by itself.

Ditto that!! Are you sure it's not the black-water flush??? Although I have never seen any behind lock and key..

Hmmmm, upon further analytical research amongst my grey matter, where is your fresh-water fill??? My old MH was behind a locked door on the outside of the coach.

Thanks...it's a stumper for me...I can't figure out why agrey water fill would be behind a locked door, like the gas fill. And why would you need to fill your grey water, except to rinse the tanks????

I gotta weigh-in with SacsTC. A grey or black-flush system makes sense, but not sure why they'd stick either behind a lock-door.

Ya sure it ain't a fuel-fill door? Oh wow! Now there's a thought, it runs on either diesel #2 or grey water. And for an octane-boost, you could plumb the black-water into... naw, never mind.

Ronboc:
Since I got my Dynasty, I thought it was a fresh water fill...until I went to fill it today, and when I went to the inside panel, it showed my grey water full...so I pulled the drain, and sure enough, the grey water was full....another mystery

My fresh water fill is in a compartment, with the black and grey drains....it has a valve that either runs city or you fill. The black water rinse inlet is also located in the same compartment.....Soooo, when I stop by SACs, I'll show you what I got...

We also have a locked, vented fill that I was told is for adding bleach, baking soda, etc. for cleaning the fresh water tank. I have not used it but after reading this will do so tomorrow and report back.

It seems that when I took a glance inside Teofff's locked door... that the cap had the word "rinse" on it...so the last statement would make sense...
