Grey water tank fullness indicator light

Not working above green or empty. Could it be a fuse? Or what?

Common problem of dirty sensors. Remember, water is your friend!

I fill my grey and black water tanks full (use hose pulled thru bathroom window), let soak for 1-2 weeks and drain. Repeat if still having a problem.

I will wait until spring to do this since I have winterized the system. Doesn't get cold here very often but better to be prepared just in case.

PS. Like your choice of coach

Ground wire

Guy at an RV dealer here suggested a ground wire problem. He said dirty sensors usually give a higher than actual reading, not lower

A big cause of grey tank sensor not working is CALCIUM
Hard water has calcium and will coat your sensors.
Most people leave their grey tank open while hooked up.
The tank only gets more water in while driving or boondocking.

When the tank drains, the coating is still there.

I use Calgon, laundry detergent and hot water in my tanks once every couple
of months. I have not had a problem with sensors for many years.

I have read about Calgon water softener and dishwasher detergent, but not calling laundry soap.
The concoction worked fir me..though I need it again
