Hand rail install

For some reason, when manufactured, HR ( Monaco ) did not install a hand grip rail in the entry way, on the right side of the entry steps.

On later models of my coach, there is a hand grip rail installed by the manufacturer attached to the dash just above the entry step well. The interior pics I've seen on newer, as much as the very next model year, all show the installed rail. It runs on the same angle as the steps.

My question - Has anyone installed one of these? Where did you get it ? And lastly, is there anything behind that cover panel that I would mess-up by drilling holes & installing one ?

You'd think that after all these years, I'd be used to not having one, but it's something I've been thinking about and like a lot of other things in my life, never did anything about.

Thanks

Maybe? you will have to look behind the mounting surface and also evaluate the thickness and strength of the mounting surface.

It's an age thing ( JK...kind of )

Thanks
Happy Trails

You have some choices. You can get engraved, lighted, and 2 or 4 hole. These are the orginal factory grab rails.
