jeaux, Koni sells a lot of shock absorbers to Monaco Coach owners because the owners love them or they wouldn't be buying them. I have FSD shock absorber on my rig and they work great.

meant to say "owns" a 2009 Roadmaster. That's really the questin because curious to know about 2009 part of the question, to see if they have found Koni's to fit the "2009"

Jeaux,

I installed Koni FSD's on my 2009 Diplomat PDQ earlier this year. I wanted to smooth out the ride before my trip to Yellowstone. The porpoising, swaying and tracking all improved. Driving the MH 2500 miles was a pure pleasure. Whereas, I was tense before after just driving 75 miles.

I would love a chance to buy some shocks off a 09, if they would work on my 96 Dynasty! Mine must need replacing! Thanks, allegro5

It cost me around $1,700 to change out all eight shocks. The ride definitely improved

Woof! 1700 for new shocks! My wife would put me in the Hospital! She started cleanning her gun when I changed all the fluids and filters! Just kidding, but not by much! When she found I had paid 179 for a new Cogg belt, she asked me if I was losing touch with reality! But shes the best and the world to me! Yea! I would love a chance to buy some shocks from a o9, if they will fit my old 96 Dynasty! allegro5

Is there a prescribed time to replace shocks? It's easy to test on a car (push down on the front end, etc) but how would a person know if they needed replacing on an RV?

There is two ways to tell if you need shocks for a Motorhome #1 If you arent happy the way it handles rough roads, and #2, When your money is burnning a hole in your pocket! Allegro5

Or you have a billstein shock break and go through your bedroom floor. Top outer bushing retainer broke in half on mine last week. Thinking of doing koni's, any ideas?

Just wondering, is the part that broke, the part of the Motorhome or the shock its self? The Billstein is a highly rated shock, and if one broke, was it the fault of the shock? Best of luck. allegro5
