After a lot of research to update my Tire Monitor system, I went with the Hawkshead HD4 TPMS from "Best RV Stuff". I know that the same system is sold under at least 2 other product names. I liked that idea for future componet needs if for some reason any one of the "names" disapears. I went with the 20 sensor package, 6 for the Monaco, 4 for the Jeep, also the Signal Booster which is mounted in the rear closet of the Monaco. I have had the system for about 2 weeks now and it appears to be very stable.

I recently purchased the TireTraker TPMS which is the same unit as the Hawkshead under the different name, and yes, you do have to remove the sensor to add air. It is no more difficult than removing a valve cap, unless you install the anti-theft collar which then requires the use of a small allen wrench to remove. Probably won't install with the anti-theft collar. I also remove the sensors from the toad when not traveling. The sensor batteries are replaceable and very easy to put in or take out of the sensors. They are available at most any place that sells the flat dime shaped watch or specialty batteries.

If it's reliable and you can trust it you picked the right one for you. Everything else is secondary.
