Headlamp issues?

Has anyone had headlamp issues? Take a look at my two front headlamps.
Weird. If you notice the top part of both lamps have broken a part from the top inside of the shell. Additionally the lights themselves have apparently heated up the back side of the shell itself to cause damage. Furthermore, the high beams only work, not the low beams. I know..strange. I'm now checking out the diagnostics and going to run a voltage meter to see of the lamps are getting low beam voltage. Film at ten.

Not sure about 2006 but our 2005 uses BMW 540 headlights.

Are you sure you have the correct bulbs installed.
A high beam bulbs usually 10 watts higher than a low beam bulb...so that means 10 watts hotter.

That's a good question Dan. We just bought this coach used so we're dissecting the issue to hopefully find some answers.

I also have shots of the circuit board with high beam and low beam pics.

They are Ford truck headlights. I had one of the reflector cups fall completely off.

As an FYI, in the '06 model year for the Dynasty, at least, they had two versions of the board in your photograph that I know of. On one, the K1 and K2 relays were for hi-beam left and hi-beam right. On the other version, ours, they are hi-beam and lo-beam, without the left and right being separated. Our '06 was built in the late fall of 2005.

I like your images of the LED's in the two states. I'll have to check ours out and see what it looks like.

I did a Google search, and it appears that our headlamps on our 2006 Dynasty coaches are from 2005 thru 2007 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks. I didn't look far, but they appear to be readily available, and appear to be approaching $100 each, but somewhat less.

Also, our tail light units are from the early 2000's Ford Econoline Vans. I found new ones on Amazon.com for about $15 each. I replaced all four (there is a left and a right mounted on top of one another on each side) and it made the back of our coach look new, again! Very pleased!!!

Outstanding information, Thank you! I did a voltmeter check today to see if I could confirm my suspicions on the possibly of it being the board and unfortunately my suspicions were correct when I found no voltage on the low beams. The entire board has to be replaced. So tomorrow I'm going to call Monaco for the first time in hopes of ordering a new board and I can swap them out. I love the wiring on the Monaco. Very easy to diagnose.

Thank you all again for the info.

On the LEDs I don't see Low Beams labeled anywhere. Am I missing something or is there another set of LEDs not pictured?
