On My 2008 Dynasty, When Coach is running, My Headlights stay lit with Headlight Switch Off & In Park, Is this Normal or should Headlights Go Off When Tranny is In Park Or Neutral?.

The Daytime Running Light function; required for any vehicle built after Jan. first 1990, to be legal in Canada; can be wired in to be on constantly , or shut down with the trans shift or park brake. Depends on the module/chassis manufacturer. My F/L the lights are on all the time the motor is running.

Yes that is the daytime running lights. hopefully they are running the low beams. many DRLs run high beams at half voltage, which is bothering to many oncoming drivers even at half voltage it is still the highbeams.
DRLs also cause the alt to die sooner than vehcle with out them.
I beliverDRLs are slighly more useless than 3rd brake lights.

If mine that would unhooked.

MHO. If running 2 headlights at 1/2 power takes out your alt; it was't much of an alt. Somehow I think that charging 6 batteries has more to do with it.
1990 Spirit,200k miles , 17 years owned ;Original alt. when sold
1993 Dakota, 160k miles, 13 years owned ; original alt. when wrecked
2000 Ram P/u 140k miles, still got this one ; original alt
2000 Caravan 40k current toad; original alt.
All DRL equiped . these have been my personal vehicles, I could add another 5 family vehicles that I personally maintained that have DRL and never had an alt replaced, and I could count on both hands the number of headlights that I'd put in to the whole works.
