Headlight Replacement

I have the little individual headlights on my 05 Ambassador. The inside one (bright, I think) took a rock and is cracked. Anyone know where these can be had?

There should be a part number on the assembly. More than likely they were made by TYC (Genera). I think the 2005 and 2006 HR Ambassador and Endeavor use the same headlight assemblies but I could be wrong. On mine the curb side assembly is 20-5860 and the road side is 20-5860 and were manufactured for the 2002 lincoln LS. If yours are different you can go to the TYC webside and they have an on-line catalog to cross reference. I don't know if individual parts like the lense are avaiable or if you will need to purchase the entire assembly. Regardless, there are many on-line stores to purchase new and maybe used.

Once you figure out for sure what kind of car your headlight is for (02 Lincoln LS???)check out www.car-part.com

You can most likely find the part from a "salvage vehicle" at about 50% of new.

Most headlights - and tail lights - today only come as a complete assembly and no individual parts are available.
