Headlight upgrade

I am thinking of getting the HID/Xenon headlamps for the coach...somehow unless I use high beams...I can't see perfectly and coming into where I live....the roads are DARK..

1. Recommendations please..

2. Aren't the headlight assembly in the 2009 HR/Monaco the same as a towncar?

Some people went to Silverstars but they always seem to blow out at 9 months to a year....that just isn't acceptable to me if I am spending money....

Thanks for the advice.

You can look at the existing headlight and there will be a number at the bottom. Google that number to find out what it came from, may very well be a towncar. Mine's an Astro Van .

Hi Stuart: Before you do anything drastic check the voltage at the headlights. MH's are notorius for having poor wiring and the headlights need full voltage to be bright. Often just wiring in a Bsch realy will solve that problem. I don't remember where I read about the quality of the lights. Might have been Diplomat Don or? Apparently the headlight asemblies are all aftermarket and made you know where. They do not reflect the light properly.

There's a lot of information in this thread.

I installed HID conversion, and I'm pleased with the results. Details of my install are contained in the above link.
