This is a tough one. I think I'd start by inspecting/tracing the headlight wiring down near the headlights and look for any modifications. It's fairly common for folks to add a relay in there because the factory wiring is undersized. If this relay malfunctions, that would cause your issue.
Best of luck!

I think your coach is doing what it was created to do. My DRL come on when I turn the ignition switch to the run position without starting the engine. Never has bothered me that they do that. I would rather they not be on, just personal preference, but it is what it is.

Does your coach have the button "ICC" (may be named something else on your coach) that is used to "flash the headlights" and marker lights?

Mine has that button on the steering wheel. If you have that feature, it may be something in the button or wiring that is causing your problem (sticking button, etc.)

Smartwheel

Hi, we had a similar problem on our 2000 Monaco Windsor, which came with a smartwheel and older style slip rings on the steering column.

I replaced the switch as well and checked many things. It turns out the problem was the smart wheel. I was wondering if you have a smart wheel on your motorhome? If so, then I'd suggest finding the smart wheel controller, ours was inside the dash, difficult to get to, but after replacing it with a refurbished one, problem was resolved.

Yours could not be the same issue, but I though I should share.
