I like to travel with my head lights on. But I also like to stop once in a while. Never fails I leave the Head lights on.
Anyone install a buzzer (or some type of alarm) that goes off when you trun off the key and leave the lights on?
What did you use and how did you install it?

Thanks so much for your time..

On some coaches if you cycle the windshield wipers once or more times the head lights only will stay on until you turn the ignition off. Try it.

I'm not sure I understand what your saying? Would I have to cycle the wipers everytime? And is it the head lights only and no tail lights?

Try it, if it works then the answer is yes and if it doesn't look for buzzer.

Lee,

Why not just buy a DRL Module, Daytime Running Light Module, and install it into the empty DRL socket you should have somewhere in your FRB under the driver's window?

I got one from the local Hamsar distributor for about $35 and it works great.

I was trying to figure out what was meant by (Heads left light on) I had to open the thread to understand what was meant.

On my 06 HR Endeavor when I turn the ignigion off and the lights are on there is a ding ding ding that happens. That is a warning that the head lights are on.

You probably won't find it on their web site unless you specifically knew what to look for. I was given the part # from another Monaco owner. It is Hamsar # H8014B.

They are only available from a distributor that handles Hamsar parts. Since I was near Anchorage, AK at the time, I used the Far North Automotive Supply for the part. It shipped within a few weeks.

If your coach was previously wired for it as some coaches were, there should be an empty relay socket somewhere in the coach. Mine was located in the front run bay inside the fuse box, others have been inside the FRB but just hanging from a harness.

FWIW, our rig is an 08 and Iv gotten into the habit of traveling with the lights on for safety.
I made a small label and put it above the light switch that simply states LITES?
Seems to work for me.
