I spent 4 hours in our coach yesterday with all the manuals trying to learn how to operate everything. I have been having trouble trying to get the heat pump to operate. My manual has conflicting instructions. I show 4 zones on the comfort control. The manual calls for 3. My zone 2 does not show " furnace" for the aqua hot but everything for heat seems to work. I tried running the rear heat pump as I am on 30 amps. Would not start. While the genset was running a few days ago I tried the front heat pump(s). I could get the fans to blow but it was cold air. I really dont think anything is wrong. Maybe just me. Can you run the aqua hot and the heat pump(s) at the same time? Our previous MH had a similar control and I sometimes had to reprogram the stat as it would forget the funace settings. I looked for documentation in my grey box but could only find some basic instructions. Any help appreciated.

On mine I can not run the aqua heat and the heat pump at the same time. Also I have 3 zones for A/C and Heat pumps but only 2 for the aqua heat. It does take a while for the heat pumps to start kicking out some heat.

Moisheh,
It also takes some time for the heatpumps to actually turn on. Sometimes my furnace fan will kick on for a few seconds and then it will shut off, then about a half a minute to a minute later the heat pump will kick on. Man, when I was trying to learn my system, that little deal was kicking my butt! I confuse easily anyway.
I'm used to having things turn on and off as soon as I hit the switch, it doesn't work that way with the heat pumps and air conditioners. I'm still not sure why the furnace fan wants to kick on at first. Something strange in the loop, but everything works anyway, so I'm good with that.

Thanks for the replies. I am wondering how you get the heat pump and auqa hot to operate at the same time? If I set the stat to urnace and then set it to heat pump wont it cancel the auqa hot? I am going to try this later this afternoon.

On my coach the aqua-hot switch has to be on before the heat pump will work. Remember when using the heat pump the furnace will kick on when the temps get down below 40.

charles:

Are you saying the switch marked " aquahot diesel" has to be on before the heat pumps will work? Doesnt make much sense but anything is possible.
