Hello and I need help with slide floor seal

Hello, I'm new to this forum and need help. Our LR slide is out and there is a white seal that is sticking half out under the floor of the slide. Afraid to run slide back in, what can we do?

Welcome to iRV2! It would help if you put your rig in your signature so that folks that have a similar setup can jump in to help. Generally, those seals are either attached with an adhesive or have metal teeth that grip a ridge so that they stay in place. Best thing to do is crawl under the rig and determine what's going on. The seals are relatively generic and can be found at most RV parts places. You may be able to fasten it back in place, but my experience has been replacing with new to be better.

On edit, I assumed the seal was hanging under the slide on the outside. If the seal is under the slide inside the rig, that might be a little more complicated....

Slide Problems

Thank you for the tip on including rig in signature line. We are newbies at the whole rving life and are learning, sometimes the hard way. Will try to explain our problem the best I can

It is a white strip of heavier plastic looking material. It is approx. 4" wide and has holes along the length of it. We can see 1 end of it under the carpet on the inside of the MH attached to the floor, but the other end is hanging outside under the slide. It won't move. Can't push it back in or pull it out. Have tried moving the slide in and out a little to see if could move it but so far no luck. Reluctant to close the slide all the way so we can drive it because unsure what that would do to this strip.

Any help appreciated as we were in the process of readying MH for trip when we noticed this.

Obviously not what I thought it was. Hopefully some Holiday Rambler owners will jump in with some help.

Update. Got the strip removed. It was still attached to the MH floor at the front end. Once we popped the end loose we were able to pull it out. Now to find out what it is called and info on replacing it. The way it looks might have to have the slide removed to do that. It seems to be a transition piece for the edge of the slide to ride on up and over the edge of the carpet. Anybody know if it will harm the slide to operate without this strip in?
