My front curb side slide is a flat floor slide. In some heavy rains I had a leak in the ceiling of the slide. While investigating I found that the top of the slide was about 1/2" below the top wiper seal and the bottom of the slide was almost resting on the mounting strip for the bottom wiper seal. I am trying to figure out how to raise the slide 1/2" to 3/4 ". I looked under the carpet and there appears to be a angled nylon piece mounted to the body that runs the length of the slide and another angled nylon pieces on the slide. Is there a way to raise the block on the body or lower the block on the slide so that when the slide is fully extended it will sit higher in the opening?

It is an electric slide and I believe it is Power Gear but I am not sure how to verify that.

Top wipe seals are not designed to touch the slide box on a flush floor application when fully extended. That's how they are able to build a flush floor. The trick is to ensure that the roof of the box is angled slightly to allow for water drainage.

Any attempts to raise the box will usually cause impact damage to the slide box top seal due to a lack of clearance when the box is fully retracted.

Ugh-Ohhhhh..What type of damage will we have?

itDave.... Uni-Grip makes different lengths flaps. You may be want to check that. By the way-notice the non-skid tape we put on. It makes the "flap" flip in and out correctly.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a Endeavor PAQ that is the one with the Atrium for the front curb slide. This is the flat floor slide with a freestanding dinning table and a Euro Recliner. I took some pictures to show where I think the problem is that caused the leak during some heavy rain storms in Iowa. The water was dripping from the florescent fixture that is in the front of the slide. When I pulled out the fixture I found that the ceiling was soaked At the time we had the Carefree Slide cover off due to wind storm damage. Now that I have had time to look at the slide construction I think I see the issue.

First this is a picture taken of one side wall with the slide retracted.

You will see a aluminum angle mounted to the slide and a gap before the slide wall touches the piece with the gasket that seals the slide to the inside wall when it is fully extended.

This next picture show the same gap along the top of the slide.

The final picture show the top wiper seal with the slide fully extended.

I think I need to somehow seal the gap between the slide walls and the piece the has the gasket on it that seal the slide to the inside wall. I an not sure that raising the slide so it contacts the top wiper seal when it is extended will solve the leak issue. Any thought or if someone else has a PAQ model can you check for gaps on yours.
