I'm planning to tow my 2005 2500 silverado 4wd crewcab duramax with my new Sig. My understanding is that all I do is put drive train in neutral via the 4wd switch and put truck in Park.
If any of you have experience in towing this truck 4 down, please let me know if this is correct and is there anything else I need to do to tow it.
Thanks,
Bill

GM has excellent towing instructions in the owner's manual. Take a look.

billsmax...Good Morning and Congrats on your new Signature!!
You can easily find the information at this link. It will take you to the 2005GM Owners Manual. Pages 4-63 through 4-65 explain the procedure for towing the truck 4-Down.
We tow our 2006 Chevrolet without any problems following these procedures!
Good Luck and enjoy!!

billsmax....Congrats on your Sig. I also tow a 2005 GMC crewcab 4X4 and follow the procedure as you described. The manual does have a directions for towing. Have fun with your new purchase.
