Welcome to the forum! Here are a few suggestions.

Are you sure you connected them right? Did you turn the master switch back on? Are the batteries dead?

Batteries are fully charged. When I went and turned dissconnect switch on at the steps I got nothing. Rechecked battery hook up and I believe it is correct. I even went under the frame to make sure that the ground cable was going to the negative terminals on the battery.

You didnt say which coach you have, did you check the salesman switch? Did you replace with two 6 volt or two 12 volt

twdickson......Your profile shows that you have a 40' Signature which would typicaqlly have more than two house batteries. Did you mean that you changed the two 12 volt chassis/starting batteries. There is generally a large knob, battery shutoff in the battery bay. Did you turn this off before doing the battery work?

If you replaced the two 12 volt starting batteries you should have had a short cable that went from the positive post on one battery to the positive post on the other. Another short cable that went from the negative post on one battery to the negative post on the other. A heavy duty red cable to the psoitive side of one battery and a heavy duty black cable that went to the negative post of the other battery.

If you do only have two 12 volt house batteries, they would be connected the same as above.

If you have two 6 volt house batteries they would be connected with a short cable from the positive post of one battery to the negative post of the other battery. The large battery cables going to the coach would be the red cable to the unused positive post on one battery and the large black cable to the unused negative post of the other battery.

If everything is correct you may have coincidentally had a failure of the solenoid for the battery switch at your steps.
