I know this is a Monaco forum but Holiday Rambler was bougth out by Monacod. Can anyone help me in getting a wiring diagram for the 12V Battery system in a 2009 Holiday Rambler, Ambassador, 42 ft, 360 ISC Cummins? I have no 12V power in the unit and I have checked the battery disconnect, I have good batteries, and was told it could be a fuse between the disconnect and the switch on the inside of coach to turn on power. The solenoid appears to be working when you press the power button. You can hear it clicking. Any help is appreciated.

Check the inside GFI's, also see if your popped a circuit breaker on the Inverter.

After checking your GFI's and the inverter....you can bypass that solenoid in the front left run bay. Just because the solenoid is clicking doesn't mean that relay is working..That relay is known to fail at times and many people bypass it.

I have a CD of wiring diagrams but they are on CD and there are several PDF's to get to..

If you call Monaco support at 877 466 6226 they can email you the right PDF.

Thanks, that is the best info I have gotten yet. We checked all the GFI and the inverter appears to be working properly. We will try the solenoid next. Trying to get it fixed quickly. Have a trip scheduled for 2 weeks leaving next week. Thank you for the information.

Your GFI's are for 120 volt NOT 12 Volt.. same with your inverter.. it inverts 12 volt to 120 volt... If your disconnected from shore power and don't have the generator running, do you have 120 volt (is the light on on the microwave? If so your getting 12 volts to the inverter. Start at the batteries and test for voltage as you trace along the circuits.

Thanks to everyone for the advice on the 12V. We have it fixed. It turned out to be a hot wire going from the AC panel to the 12V panel had come loose and was laying in the cabinet behind the 12V fuse box. All of the information provided was very helpful and was in line with the advice from Monaco.
