Help! Iam stuck on the road in Virginia in my 1999 (new for me) Monaco Diplomat, with my husband and SIX KIDS!! I am told my tie rod ends are no good. Does anyone know a part number or if these parts are interchangable with another tie rod end I can obtain locally. I have been here for 2 days and Monaco doesnt open till tomorrow at noon EST.
Thanks for any assistance you can lend.

Where are you in VA?

What chassis are you on?
Then, call a NAPA store - open today and often late nights.
If NAPA no got, then call the local - whatever chassis you are on - service shop.

I hope a pizza shop and movie house are nearby! Maybe a pool too, it'll be 100 in VA today and the next 4 days.

Tie rod ends should be an easy to get part at a truck parts store. You don't need to go to Monaco for these. NAPA is good. Try a 24hr truck repair shop.

Are your current tie rods broken or just have too much play?
