Does anyone have the Trailer hitch height above the ground for a 97 Dynasty handy.

tom49, May I suggest that there is no such thing above the ground because your hitch is where it is. It also moves up and down due to inflation of the air bags. I'm not sure if you already have a hitch installed or are you adding one?

More importantly you want to know how high should the tow bar be so that it can be angled slightly uphill facing the motorhome. The solution that I believe you are looking for might be to use a drop bar upside down. The height from the baseplate attachment point moved about 4 inches between the 2 last to cars I owned. I went from a 4 inch drop to no drop.

I think I should have worded the question differently.
The Dynasty has a built in receiver and I was wondering if anyone had the height above the ground of the center line of that receiver when the coach is at the proper ride height.
Just trying to save myself an extra trip to the storage yard if anyone has the info handy.

tom49.......Sorry Tom.....you're going to have to go to the storage yard and air her up......they'll all be different. The only known factor is that the standard hitch height (when the ball is in the receiver) is 18" from the ground to the top of the ball. That's the standard for trailer height. Your tow bar level height will obviuosly be different because the vehicles are all different.
